+Can I bring an RV?
Unfortunately, No. River road is a narrow road without a shoulder. The exact vehicle requirements are listed in the race bible. Generally speaking, a 15 passenger van is the maximum vehicle size.

+What are the team requirements for night running?
Teams are required to wear a reflective running vest, a front running light, a butt light, and a head lamp from 6pm to 6am. This is 100% for your safety, and when your running past the old Carville Leper Colony, on the 7 mile stretch, in the middle of the night you will be glad you look like a christmas tree.

+Will there be restrooms on the course?
There will be restrooms located at 4 supported exchanges along the course. In addition, there are public restrooms and friendly neighborhood businesses that may be available for use. The final version of the race map will include these locations

+When is packet Pickup?

Runner can pick up their packets at:

  • The pre-race social on  Thursday February 12th from 6:00PM – 9:00PM at Lucy’s retired surfers bar in Downtown Baton Rouge.
  • The Race Expo on Friday, February 13th from 4:00PM – 7:30PM on the levee by the USS KIDD located in downtown Baton Rouge.

+Where does the race start?
The race will start at the USS KIDD Battleship in Downtown Baton Rouge.

+When does the race start?

+Why does the race start in waves?
We do this to try an get all of the solo runners and teams to the finish area at roughly the same time. This means that the runners and trams that need the full 42 hours to finish the race start first and the faster runners and teams start later.
